We had missed our connection due to high traffic around LHR and having to circle around plus wait for a gate to clear up.
We landed 30 min late plus long lines and another 20 min wait at security due to a large number of flights all landing at the same time.
Had no issues getting rebooked on a later flight by the airline via the reps in Terminal 5 and it did not cost anything.
Bags should make it but highly recommend placing Airtags or some other tracking device in them as two of our 4 bags did not make it on our later rebooked connection for some reason and it was 3 hours later.
