I’ve stayed at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo 3 times.
I think it only has a couple of suites, so the upgrades are only to a higher floor.
The lounge was OK but not like other higher-ranked hotels.
It’s a 10-minute walk to Shinjuku station.
Not too much around the area except for office buildings.
2 major pluses:
The airport limo bus stops at the hotel and it’s category 4.
For my next trip (my 6th) I’m staying at the Conrad Tokyo and at the Hyatt Centric Ginza.
I’ve seen great reviews for both of these.
I like Ginza because it’s very pedestrian so many restaurants and shops, and also several metro stations.
It’s a fancy area.
