I love Westjet and chose to get their WestJet MasterCard with RBC, it doesn’t get the best possible points earned but instead of some confusing points I earn straight up Westjet dollars that I can easily view on their app.
I’ve overall had great experiences with Westjet and hope they continue to expand as their overall service and scheduling is much better than Air Canada.
Also, check Porter Airlines they seem to be making big moves to expand to Western Canada and could be a potential for connecting flights
