My hubby and I did Live Aqua in Cancun in October of 2022 and had a good time.
I personally don’t like all-inclusive resorts because they’re usually really busy, and loud and the food isn’t great, but we found a good last-minute deal and gave it a try.
I was pleasantly surprised!
It’s adults only, the beds on the beach were awesome (though they are extra charge), and we could order every meal in restaurant style – even breakfast! – instead of a buffet and the food was really good for an all-inclusive resort.
If your heart is not set on all-inclusive I would highly recommend Chiringuito in Tulum.
It’s a boutique hotel with only like 12 rooms, the food and service are incredible, it’s quiet and the beach is amazing.
They only have a small pool though so if you’re a pool person going to a bigger all-inclusive resort is probably better, but if you’re an ocean person (like me haha) then boutique hotels are great as they are not loud and the food is awesome.
Though they are usually more expensive though.

I’ll be at the Riu Palace Peninsula in northern Cancun in February to celebrate my mom’s birthday.
It’s also all-inclusive so I’m excited to see what that’s like.
