What Are Best All Inclusive Resorts In Mexico For 2024?
Posted by Marjorie on December 6, 2023 at 11:49 pmLooking to plan a spring break trip to Mexico in March 2024 and was wondering what are the best all inclusive resorts in Mexico?
Would prefer adults only resort but wouldn’t rule out family friendly resorts if they are really great!
Also are there any Mexico all inclusive resorts that you can use points at?

Hands down Hyatt Ziva, plus you can use points!
You can stay in the adults-only tower called Turquoise while family with kids stay in the other areas.
It’s the best!

Either Excellence property is……excellent!
Excellence Riviera Maya is a bit older but still in great shape.
The beds at Playa Mujeres are off-the-hook comfortable and gigantic.
Can’t go wrong either!

My hubby and I did Live Aqua in Cancun in October of 2022 and had a good time.
I personally don’t like all-inclusive resorts because they’re usually really busy, and loud and the food isn’t great, but we found a good last-minute deal and gave it a try.
I was pleasantly surprised!
It’s adults only, the beds on the beach were awesome (though they are extra charge), and we could order every meal in restaurant style – even breakfast! – instead of a buffet and the food was really good for an all-inclusive resort.
If your heart is not set on all-inclusive I would highly recommend Chiringuito in Tulum.
It’s a boutique hotel with only like 12 rooms, the food and service are incredible, it’s quiet and the beach is amazing.
They only have a small pool though so if you’re a pool person going to a bigger all-inclusive resort is probably better, but if you’re an ocean person (like me haha) then boutique hotels are great as they are not loud and the food is awesome.
Though they are usually more expensive though.
Enjoy your Mexico vacation!
I’ll be at the Riu Palace Peninsula in northern Cancun in February to celebrate my mom’s birthday.
It’s also all-inclusive so I’m excited to see what that’s like.

Been to all the Rius Resorts in Mexico.
For the money, they were okay.
Now that I have more disposable income & older, Live Aqua Cancun is the place.
Love all the food carts around the pool, Starbucks to grab a coffee or sandwich, the Sushi bar @ 4:00 ,and the restaurants.
Food & service were great.
Can’t wait to go back in March.

Hotel Xcaret Arte (if you stay in the Artistas building you have access to all the restaurants at this property and at Hotel Xcaret next door).
Or if you want to splurge La Casa de la Playa.

I mean it depends on what you want out of a resort, such as energy level, budget, etc.
The favorites I’ve been to Mexico are:
Secrets Maroma Beach (Hyatt)
Others on my list to try:
Secrets Moxche (Hyatt)
Breathless Riviera Cancun (Hyatt)

I second Secrets Moxche.
Also, Secrets Riviera Cancun is attached to Breathless Riviera Cancun.
Secrets is the quieter side and Breathless is the party side.
Both adults only.

I’d recommend the Barcelo in Riviera Maya.
There are several restaurants on the property and they are ALL good.
We went with one of the more expensive but that is because we wanted access to eat at all of them.
Food is excellent and meets a lot of dietary needs.
Can be made fresh.
I’m an athlete so the gym was really nice and they have a lap pool.
We have gone at least 5 times.
One year we stayed at the adults only and we actually spent more time with the families.
It was more entertaining.

We love Live Aqua in Cancun.
Adults only all inclusive.
Easy to get to from the airport and lots of food options.
-
Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta is incredible.
You can see a room tour of a suite on YouTube.
It was an incredible property and we will be going back soon.

Atelier Playa Mujeres was absolutely unbelievable and I couldn’t recommend it more.
We went there for our honeymoon in December and I honestly don’t think anything about it could’ve been better.

For me, it really depends on how long I want to fly.
I live on the North West Coast of the US so I tend to stick to Cabo or Puerto Vallarta because I can leave at 6 am & be at the hotel in Mexico in the early afternoon.
I had a great experience at the RIU in Cabo San Lucas pre-pandemic and am going to the RIU Vallarta this June.
They are pretty inexpensive & provide a good level of service.
We have stayed at the mid-level ones because I don’t really need luxury.
