• Can You Bring Alcohol On Board MSC Cruises?

I have a MSC Cruise departing from Barcelona in June and was wondering if MSC allows passengers to bring alcohol on board?

I know in the US, some cruise lines permit passengers to bring bottles of wine, while others don’t allow any alcohol.

You can’t bring your own drinks on MSC cruises, which is different from Carnival.

Carnival allows one bottle of wine and one 12-pack of soda per person.

Sneaking alcohol on board is doable once the cruise begins, especially on port days.

You can replace water bottles with clear booze, then put it back in or I bought these Shampoo Bottle flasks from Amazon and they work great to sneak alcohol onboard.

On MSC, you’ll need to buy the soda package or cans of soda, or stick to tea/lemonade for mixing.

Bringing a Yeti cup or tumbler is a good idea for making your drinks.

No matter if it’s technically allowed to bring your own wine on a cruise, they’ll hit you with a corkage fee that’s so steep it cancels out any savings.

The smart move is to get a big bottle of cheap, clear mouthwash, carefully take off the security wrap, empty it out, and rinse the bottle well.

Then, pick your favorite clear alcohol like vodka, gin, rum, or Everclear.

Fill up the bottle with your booze of choice, seal it back up, and secure it discreetly with clear tape.

Put it in your suitcase in a big ziplock bag just in case it leaks.

I can personally vouch that this trick works.

Then, you can mix your own drinks in your room and have a good time

I suggest getting some fake shampoo or lotion bottles and load up a couple of liters of alcohol from Costco.
