    My Hyatt concierge told me they do not participate in the SUA program at all.

    Hotels, like airlines, generally only offer a limited number of rooms to be available to book on points.

    You missed the window, unfortunately.

    You can watch for someone to cancel and maybe availability to be returned to stock.

    Not that it will help now, but a “pro tip” is to book a room for a few weeks around any time you MIGHT want to go…make sure it’s fully refundable!

    Then cancel or adjust the dates when you confirm plans.

    Yes, this might “abandon” points in the hotel loyalty program but hopefully, you’ll travel someday when you can use them for something else.

    Not helpful for getting a suite, just a note that Alila Ubud is a fantastic hotel and their Wednesday night buffet is totally worth it.
