Best Alternative To Plastiq To Meet AMEX Sign Up Bonus?
Is there any good alternative to Plastiq?
I want to issue a check from my Amex credit card to pay my rent and one good option is Plastiq.
This is to meet sign up bonus requirements.
Though Plastiq started accepting Amex since past week, but when I add my card, it throws an error.
“We are experiencing a temporary outage with our American Express integration. While we work on a fix, please try and use another card for any urgent payments. We apologize for the inconvenience”.
Don’t know how long it will continue like this.
Is there any other service, I can use instead?
I checked Melio, but apparently, it is only for business credit cards.
“They are also clear that you cannot use Melio for “personal” payments and you cannot use Visa or American Express credit cards for paying any type of debt (mortgage, loans, etc.)”.
Any other ideas to meet AMEX sign up bonus?

What kind of bill are you trying to pay?
Could look at PayPal bill pay to see if they have your payee.

Amex Plastiq issues are fixed but it can still only pay certain types of bills and rent isn’t one of them.

Maybe pay a friend via Paypal / Venmo and then use that money to pay the rent.
