Can I Link Ultimate Rewards Into 1 Household Account?
I was trying to link household Ultimate Rewards accounts together for me and my P3.
The Chase rep said they no longer link accounts!!
We would have to call them EVERY time to transfer points?! (And all the verifications they need to do with other P3 takes time!)
Rep also said they don’t allow this online at all, which is not true since I was able to move P2 points into mine very easily online!
Has anyone else heard of this “new” Chase rule about not allowing family accounts?!
I asked when was this implemented and he said around November 2023 when they updated their systems!
I sure love the ease and convenience of doing it myself online!!
Hate the time it will take every time need to transfer points!

As I’ve always understood it, you can only be linked to one household member at a time.
Since you’re already able to transfer to P2, P3 is a no-go.
You could conceivably do a daisy chain, where P1 can transfer to P2 who can transfer to P3 who can transfer to P1.
Sometimes that’ll mean two hops, but everything would be accessible by everyone, eventually.

Our linked accounts became unlinked 6 months ago.

I literally just transferred points from P2 to my CSP.
I’ve had it set up for quite some time though.
Is it a new rule for cardholders who haven’t set it up before that they must call in?
Because clearly, it is possible I just did it.

Yes, this has been reported but data points are all over the place.
Some are being told, as you are, that they will have to call all the time.
Some were told that but discovered it was linked after all (check and see if you got lucky).
Some were told that it was linked when it wasn’t.
I’ve seen others who have had it linked for some time lose that link and be told they would have to call from now on (someone even reported that P1->P2 was lost but P2->P1 remained).
And others have seen absolutely no changes.
It’s definitely a YMMV type of thing.
