Can I Pack My Hair Straightener And Hair Dryer In My Carry On?
Quick question, I’m headed to Europe soon with my wife soon.
She wants to know if she can bring her hair straightener and hair dryer in her carry on?
Or does she need to put them in her checked bag?

Make sure they are dual voltage, or they will get damaged.

I had a straightener that worked with 120-220 volts, but I accidentally melted my converter.
So, I bought a 220-volt straightener locally to avoid more problems.
Plus, I blew a fuse when I plugged my powerful US hairdryer into another converter! No joke!

If you plan to travel to Europe more than once, I personally would buy a travel hair straightener and travel hair dryer.
They are super cheap, like $15.
The voltage converters never work properly and can damage your electronics so better to have a dedicated device for Europe.
