• What’s Current Global Entry Renewal Processing Time?

Posted by Sean on November 2, 2023 at 10:47 am

    Global Entry Datapoint update.

I submitted my renewal application in October of 2022.

Mine expired in July of 2023.

In August of 2023, I visited the PHX airport office when my daughter’s renewal was approved and she needed a new photo.

The officer said mine had been automatically extended for 2 years upon my renewal application but to check back in a couple of months.

In the meantime, the global entry website kept telling me I had conditional renewal approval.

Finally, 13 months after the renewal was filed the card just arrived in the mail.

I never received any notice that full renewal had been approved.

    Go figure.

    Its crazy!

My wife and I applied for the first time in June, and were conditionally approved two days later.

We had our interviews in late August and early October respectively, and received our cards within two weeks.

For both interviews (at LAX’s CPB offices), there were almost no other applicants there!

    WOW!

I renewed mine in February and got confirmation within 48 hours, and the card within a week.

    Mine expired this coming January.

I renewed it this summer the whole process start to finish took 2 months.

I was able to do a virtual appointment.

Oye, I’m 5 months into waiting on my renewal.

It’s technically expired in October but there is a note about the extension, just doesn’t say how long.

Renewed and paid April 2023 before it expired.

    It’s still pending approval.

I check online often, but was told up to 2 years to get approved.

If you renew before your expiration, then you get a 2-year grace period.

My husband’s renewal has been in the CBP queue since July.

Mine was renewed over a weekend.

His doesn’t expire till February 2024, so we have been patiently waiting.

And yes I did see the 2 year extension note as well.
