I’ve had luck getting reimbursed for $10 for Premium Seat and $40 for Checked Bag.

My data point is using miles + $255 extra comfort +$5 tax.
Only $5 was triggered automatically.
They gave me the rest $195 credit after I told them it was the seat chosen fee.
