Do I Need To Pay For Travel In Full To Get Credit Card Travel Insurance?
If I pay just part of a cruise with Chase Sapphire Reserve will I still get travel insurance?

I don’t know specifically but I have heard that just paying the taxes and fees on an award booking gets you coverage so this sounds pretty similar.

Yes, you can just pay partially.
You don’t have to put the entire purchase on the card to get the travel insurance.
