• Are All International Business Class Seats Lie Flat?

Are all international business class seats lie flat or is it specific to each airline if their business class is lie flat?

Is there a resource where you can find which airlines offer which types of seats in each cabin class?

I don’t want to book business class and then get on the plane only to discover that it is a recliner seat.

When you’re booking your flight, if it’s a smaller plane with just two cabin sections or a narrow body jet with a single aisle, chances are the business class seats won’t fully recline into beds—they’ll likely be regular recliner seats.

However, on larger planes (wide-bodies), if they’re offering premium economy tickets, then it’s probable that the business class seats will lie flat.

This can vary depending on the airline, specific route, and type of plane, so it’s important to double-check when you’re making your booking.

First, let’s clarify what we mean by ‘international.’

I’ve read your initial question a few times, but I’m having trouble understanding it.

You can check seat maps on aerolopa.com.

Usually, major airlines that fly long distances internationally have lie-flat seats.

However, budget airlines usually don’t offer them.

On long haul flights, US to Europe for example, most airlines offer lie flat business class.

But on a flight from say NYC to Toronto (or LA to Mexico City), those are international flights but because it is a short flight, they might not have lie flat business class.

Basically you have to check every time when you book the ticket.

There is typically a seat map when you pick your seat and it should tell you if it is true lie flat or not.
