Does Anyone Have A Full List Of All Founder Card Benefits?
Posted by Malvina on January 13, 2024 at 1:04 amFor those of you who have the Founders Card (Not Elite or the “Free”), can you post the list of full benefits in a comment please?
I’m thinking about this card since I am a small business owner and I travel regularly for work.
I also want to see if Square is a benefit.
I know Stripe is, but that won’t work for me since I use Square.

From Business Insider:

Airline discounts and elite/VIP perks, including:
- Cathay Pacific offers 5-25% off flights, as well as a complimentary upgrade to Silver elite status. That status includes priority check-in, complimentary advance seat reservations, access to business class lounges while traveling on the airline in any class, and an extra baggage allowance. The status is valid for a year, after which you’ll need to re-qualify through normal methods.
- British Airways offers FoundersCard members up to 10% off most round-trip fares between the US or Canada and the UK.
- Alaska Airlines offers 5% off fares within the Continental US, Hawaii, and Canada.
- JetBlue features preferred flat fares for Mint (business class) transcontinental flights, plus up to 5% off coach and business class tickets. Mint fares are as low as $800.
- American Airlines offers a changing list of benefits, including extra frequent flyer miles, elite qualifying points, or the opportunity to receive complimentary Platinum status for three months, with the chance to keep it by flying a certain required amount within three months.
- Qantas, the Australian flag carrier, offers a whopping 10–25% off flights from the US to Australia or New Zealand.
- Emirates offers 5–10% off US originating fares. The airline serves more than 125 destinations around the world, and offers particularly useful routing for those traveling from the US to the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
- Singapore Airlines discounts US originating flights up to 5%.
- JetSmarter, a service that helps members find available seats on private and chartered flights as an alternative to flying commercial — but for a much cheaper price tag than flying private normally carries — offers FoundersCard members a free three-month trial.

I’m just having a bit of a ding-dong with them, trying to redeem a benefit for Virgin Atlantic.
The website says that you can redeem this benefit once, which I assumed was once a (membership) year but it appears that once = ever!
So, it’s OK for year 1, but useless if you then renew, which is a strange way of rewarding loyalty.
I would check carefully in the T&C’s how many other benefits you can use ‘once’.
I’ll report back and confirm if once really is for at least this Virgin Atlantic benefit.

Good to know Matt!
I was also thinking about signing up for Founder’s Card but great to hear from your first-hand experience.

Here is another Founders Card review that lists all the benefits.
Seems pretty mediocre and is what you can get from any Premium Credit Card.

FoundersCard Review - Is It Worth It?
The FoundersCard is a unique offering; designed for small-businesses, it's a membership card that offers high-end travel and lifestyle perks.

I have had the Founders Card for the last year and I just renewed so that I could get Caesar’s Diamond status for my Trip to Las Vegas.
I am going to play in the World Series of Poker June 3-21st, I am selling action if you want a piece, send me a private message.
It cost me $299 USD to renew, but on my first trip, I saved $917 USD in resort fees alone.
Plus I get front of the line service to all Events, Restaurants and next available seat at poker games at any Caesars resort.
Also gets you upgrades to Avis, Mariott, Hilton Honors, and 500 other benefits.
If you are planning to travel, look into Founders Card, it’s a great deal and more than pays for itself on your first trip.
Not everything is available in Canada, like the Apple discount, but there are lots, especially if you travel to the USA.
Works for me.

Basically they give you perks and discounts that you can also get elsewhere like entry-level hotel status (which you can get from a hotel credit card), and software discounts (which you can get if you have a free business bank account from Mercury).
Founders Card does have free airline status for Cathay and Virgin Flying Club, which you could parlay into a status match for a US airline.
But for $700 sign up fee, it would probably be better to just get an AMEX Platinum, at least you’d get lounge access and earn miles.

If you have Clear Plus Membership, they just sent out an email offering a free year of Founders Card.
