Do Credit Card Upgrade / Downgrade Count Towards 5/24?
Do credit card upgrades or downgrades count towards Chase 5/24?
Say if you upgrade or downgrade a credit card, does Chase consider the card you move to as one of the 5/24?
For example upgrading from a Capital One Venture to a Venture X.
Does Chase consider that a “new” card?

No, it doesn’t count towards 5/24.
It’s a product change rather than a new product / line of credit.

Nope.
I have done it and asked the Capital One rep and they don’t even pull a new credit report.
