• Is Bangkok Airways Safe To Fly?

Does anyone have experience flying with Bangkok Airways?

I am reading Bangkok Airways reviews online and can’t tell if they are similar to Air Asia.

How is the Bangkok Airways flight experience and most importantly is Bangkok Airways safe to fly?

Another question I have is does Bangkok Airways schedule change their flights often?

I’m considering booking some tickets on Bangkok Air pretty far in advance, hoping that I’ll be able to get more expensive but better timed flights on a schedule change, but don’t really know the policies on this airline.

I have used them several times and they have been on time every time (maybe 5-10 minutes delay at max).

Their Blue Ribbon Class is great if you have extra luggage and also want a better lounge experience.

We’ve been to Thailand 4 times and have flown Bangkok Airways for domestic for several flights during those trips.

Great airline and honestly we’ve never had any cancellation issues.

    Some minor delays are all.

Also, as I understand it, their flights actually get more expensive the closer you get to the trip date, so booking in advance is typically the best rate.

We haven’t had to deal with rescheduling so I can’t help you there.

They tend to be more expensive than AirAsia and a couple other budget airlines, but I think their baggage allowance is slightly better.

We just used them this month and had another good experience.

Bangkok Airways is like a boutique airline.

They fly small planes and mostly fly in Thailand to the islands like Koh Samui.

It is most similar to JSX in the US.

They have a language at BKK that all Bangkok Airways passengers can use.

I have flown them before and it was great.

Air Asia is probably cheaper but that is like flying RyanAir or Spirit.
