    Avoid the Egypt Air 777.

Only fly if it’s an Egypt Air 787 Dreamliner as this aircraft has the updated 1 2 1 business class configuration.

Depends on where you are flying Egypt Air.

Their to/from US and EU flights are OK.

Egypt Air’s Africa and Asia flights are dumpy.

Economy with a closed-off middle row.

I’d put them a notch or two below Air India.

FYI Egypt Air is a dry airline.

They don’t serve alcohol in business class.

I flew them JFK>CAI and CAI>LHR both legs in business class.

I thought it was perfectly fine, except for the no alcohol part.

The food was actually pretty good.

I Flew from Athens to Cairo with Egypt Air and it was by far the sketchiest airline I’ve ever flown.

From the duct tape to the white tail aircraft to the engines that sounded like a 1976 Pinto, I don’t know if I’d put my life in their hands again.

Mediocre but readily available on points.

    Flew them IAD-CAI-TLV last year.

The salad course was fantastic, but the 2oz of beef main was the worst meat glued tough unseasoned piece of meat I’ve eaten in the last 20 years.

Oil and parsley were the seasonings for the laughably tiny beef nugget.

We flew EgyptAir last summer from JFK/CAI and as everyone noted, they’re a dry airline.

I just had some drinks in an airport lounge before we departed.

The flight attendants were nice and the food was decent.

I just needed the ability to lay flat as I have neck and back issues, so I was happy.

We are flying them again in December.

Nothing fancy, but they fly direct and I could sleep.
