How Early Can I Check In For Emirates Flight At JFK?
Does anyone have any recent experience checking in very early for Emirates at New York JFK?
We are flying Business Class on EK206 departing 10:20 pm, but are positioning to JFK on a redeye.
Is it possible to check our bags while the Emirates check-in counter is open for EK 204 in the morning?
Failing that – is it still possible to check in with their ticket desk – old reports said they would do that for F/J pax.
Otherwise – would they at least print a boarding pass (assuming online check in might not work) so we could store our bags at the T4 storage facility and go to the Emirates / Centurion lounges?
I talked to the Emirates call center but they didn’t seem to know conclusively one way or the other.
Any advice of how early I can check in for Emirates flight at JFK would be much appreciated!

In Milan, they didn’t let me check in during the DXB flight.
I had to wait a few hours for the check in for JFK to open.

The Emirates counter will be open for check in for EK204 not, sadly, EK206.
They won’t take your bags.
You’ll need to hold them with you until at least 3 hors before EK204 opens for check-in.
For a late night Cathay flight, we went to the TWA hotel and just hung out.
Not optimal but the only option.

Most foreign carriers have limited space in JFK so I doubt it.
Cathay denied me but British Airways didn’t have an issue.
