What’s Best Way To Earn Extra Airbnb Points?
For the last two or three years, I have always booked my Airbnb stays through the British Airways portal and have been collecting 3 Avios points for every dollar spent on an Airbnb stay.
Yesterday, I noticed they have dropped it down to 2 Avios per dollar spent.
What’s the best way to collect bonus points on Airbnb stays besides British Airways Avios?
2 points are better than nothing, but it seems kind of paltry now.

Delta offers 1 mile per $1 on Airbnb spend, which is an even worse rate!
Despite the drop to 2 Avios per dollar, I still think British Airways is the best option to earn extra points on Airbnb.

I usually use my Chase Sapphire Reserve to buy gift cards in the United MileagePlus X app, which earns 2x points on Airbnb.
It becomes 2.5x if you have a United credit card, resulting in a total of 3x points on the Sapphire Reserve and 2.5x points on United, giving a combined earning rate of 5.5x.
These gift cards can then be used on British Airways or Delta to earn an additional point or two.
