I have this card and haven’t had any problems using it anywhere in the world.

I only use it when traveling because there are no foreign exchange fees.

At home, I use other cards that offer better reward points.

The card is free if you keep $6,000 in a Scotia account, so that’s what I do.

I personally don’t think this card is good for everyday spending compared to others.

The perks, like 0% foreign exchange fees, don’t give me the best value for my travel habits, so I prefer cards that offer more points.

    Your mileage may vary.

The lounge passes are decent, but I found them limited.

For example, we could use them at Vancouver Airport on our last trip, but not at SFO, ORD, or Newark.

For our upcoming trip to Japan, we can only use them at YVR since Japanese lounges are more like business cubicles.

We were also denied access in Rome because they stopped accepting Visa DragonPass Cards due to capacity issues, although other DragonPass holders were still allowed.

I might consider getting the card in the future, but it hasn’t been worth it for us in the past few years.

We have the Scotia passport for the same reason.

We’ve used the lounge passes in Europe and Canada without any problems.

The no foreign exchange fee is really nice to have when traveling outside of Canada.

You can use the lounge passes anywhere without any issues.

Just download the Visa Airport Companion app and add your credit card to your account.

Then, you can search for lounges by airport to see where the passes can be used.
