• Is Qatar Airways Business Better Than Emirates Or Etihad?

Posted by Bill on March 1, 2024 at 11:05 am

I usually fly with Emirates or Etihad based on my departure location (UK) when traveling to Australia, but due to the rising price of business class, Qatar Airways is £1500 cheaper.

Seat allocation is a priority for Qatar Airways (including both Emirates and Etihad), although they do not offer a chauffeur service like Emirates.

Despite this, there is still a significant cost saving with Qatar Airways Business Class.

What are people’s experiences flying with Qatar Airways and is Qatar Business Class better than Emirates or Etihad?

In terms of Emirates vs Etihad vs Qatar, which would you fly?

I typically travel every 2 years, but this is my first trip since Covid, so I’m overthinking everything and reading too many business class flight reviews.

My experiences with Qatar Airways have always been excellent.

I have only tried Etihad’s business class, and while it was okay, they canceled my return flight from Thailand, so it wasn’t as good as Qatar Airways, where I have never experienced any changes that drastically affected me.

The business class product itself, although not consistent due to a variety of seats across aircraft, tends to be very comfortable.

The hub is busy but easy enough to navigate and is definitely better (for me) than Dubai airport.

Abu Dhabi, after its revamp, is now a better airport than Doha, but Doha is bigger.

Overall, if I had all three options in front of me for business class, I would choose Qatar Airways if I could ensure a proper business layout.

    I love Qatar Airways.

I flew business class from Hong Kong to Manchester last month and had a fantastic experience.

I’ve also flown with Emirates, but in terms of cost, Qatar Airways usually offers better value

I haven’t done Qatar but the 2 times we went to Australia (from UK) were with Qantas and British Airways, and both were really good.

When we lived in UAE, we were hoping to do a third trip to Australia since we were halfway there already and it was actually cheaper flying from UK, than Abu Dhabi (the same plane dropping into Abu Dhabi).
