How Long After Annual Fee Posts Can I Cancel Credit Card?
For my AMEX Platinum, how long after my annual fee posts do I have to call / message for a retention offer or cancel?
I am trying to get the credits for 2024 before canceling the card next year.

You can call at your leisure.
You have 30 days but sooner rather than later.
If you get a good offer take it.
If it isn’t good try back another day.

Any time and you can call daily to see if the offer gets better or if you don’t have an offer if one shows up.

From my experience with AMEX, it is 60 days, but better to do it before your statement is due.
Otherwise you have to pay the annual fee and close the card, and then they mail you a check for the balance of the annual fee.
