How long does it take for Avianca LifeMiles to refund the cash part of a canceled award flight by the airline?
I got the miles within 72 hours, but not the fees.

I remember last time I did it, it took at least 2 weeks to get the cash refund.

From my experience, it can take up to 1 month.
The agent told me Avianca only processes refunds once a month or something like that so that is why it takes that long.
I recommend making a note on your calendar in 30 days to double-check that the refund was received.
