How Long For Immigration At Bangkok Airport (BKK)?
Is anyone familiar with international transfers at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi BKK airport?
Arriving from AMS on KLM with an hour to clear customs / immigration and connect on Air Asia to Chiang Mai.
Traveling with hand luggage only.
Sounds too tight to me, but my last time through immigration and customs was a breeze.
Would you chance it?

That seems super tight seeing as you will have to re-check in and go back through security for your flight.
We were at BKK twice this year and at the minimum it took us 20 minutes just for customs

We used a fast track service where they met us and took us to the VIP immigration line and it was super quick!

I think you still need to clear immigration and unless you are a Thai passport holder or physically disabled, the line for foreign passports is always super long.
It took me 45 mins last week and it was shorter than usual.
