1:05 seems too short to me.

They’ll start boarding the next flight before you get off the first one and you’ll still have to go through exit immigration and I think also security.

I don’t recall there being a way to get to the 2E departure gates from 2F without passing security, but I might be wrong about that.

Flying AMS-CDG-IAD, you’ll have to go through exit immigration in Paris, since AMS-CDG is intra-Schengen.

Don’t risk it…go for the longer layover.

CDG is not a pleasant experience!

My rule of thumb is minimum 2 hours in any large airport.

The airlines don’t confirm flights if they can’t manage them.

I had a 45-minute layover at LHR and made it fine.

The airports have special lines for transfers.

If you want to be sure, just call the airline and ask what they suggest.

We just had a 65-minute layover at CDG.

I was a bit nervous, but we made it with time to spare.

    And so did our luggage.

But I knew if we missed it there were 2 flights following ours.

If it were my travels, I would rebook with the longer layover.

I don’t want to be trying to scramble in an international airport.
