• How Many Devices Can I Use With T-Mobile Free Airline Wifi?

    Posted by Vernon on September 1, 2023 at 8:33 am

    I have an upcoming flight on United and I have T-Mobile, which provides the following free WiFi benefits per calendar year:

    * Unlimited one-hour passes (one per flight)

    * Four full-flight passes

    My question is how does this work if I want to connect multiple devices?

    I plan to use a full-flight pass for my phone, but if I also want to connect a second device, does that require me to use another one of the passes?

    Or does my full flight pass for my phone allow me to use multiple devices?

    You can ONLY connect on the phone, one per flight, and no tethering.

    One phone per Tmobile phone number per flight.

    USB tether to get other devices.

    Easy answer is to figure out who you know with T-Mobile service and “borrow” their number for an hour.

    I believe you can only connect on your phone.

    I used it last week on United and connected for the 1 hour on my phone but when I tried on my computer I didn’t even have the T-Mobile option on the connect to WiFi menu.

    To use it on your computer, right-click anywhere on your screen, inspect the element, and in Chrome there is a computer icon at the top, if you change that to a phone the t mobile wifi sign-in will pop up.

    Works for me every time!
