    That’s kinda pricey.

$3,000 is more the normal price for an Alaska cruise.

Unless you’re adding on packages like drinks and internet.

Depends on the time of year.

If you’re more in that June/July/August period, it’s a good price.

If it’s May or September, it’s an ordinary price.

I have a Princess Alaska balcony booked for May 2024. (7 day Seattle loop. Not my preference– my first choice was a southbound out of Whittier but I wanted to visit someone in Seattle, and it was too clunky to get there from Vancouver.)

The actual balcony cabin itself ran $3,236.00 for two people.

The taxes/fees/port expenses were another $653.76.

    I did internet-for-one for $105.00.

No drink package, no plus or premier package.

Pre-paid gratuities ran $224 for two people.

If I had booked more in peak season, it probably would have run an extra $1000/each just for the room.

Sounds high, but if you are going in July or August, it doesn’t seem *way* out of line if this is the “plus” package that already includes gratuities, drink packages, and wifi.

I can’t answer to the price but we went on the Princess Cruise to Alaska with the four-day land package.

It was amazing and I felt like Princess took our hand from the moment we landed in Fairbanks and didn’t let go until the moment we cruised into Vancouver.

Such was the level of care and attention every step of the way.

It was awesome and I wish you a glorious trip to this amazing destination!!!!

I’m a cruise travel agent, and that’s a totally fair price.

Princess also has better Alaska itineraries than Royal or Celebrity or NCL because they can go to Glacier Bay National Park whereas the others don’t go there.

    That’s very high.

I never pay more than $700 or $800 per person for a balcony cabin.

I just took Princess to Alaska for $600 per person for a balcony.

    I booked via Expedia.
