How To Book Airbnb Using Credit Card Points?
Is there any way to book an Airbnb with points?
Our son will be graduating from Air Force BMT in May and we need a house for the number of people who will be attending.
I’ve found the vacation rental I wanna book, but we haven’t paid cash for lodging in years!
I am trying to figure out if there’s a way to book an Airbnb with points or is our best bet just to pay with Airbnb giftcards purchased with Chase Ink Cash from an office supply store and call it a day?!
I haven’t been able to find any other Airbnb coupons or discounts.

I would suggest that you look into getting a Wyndham Business Earner card for the future.
I use it to buy Airbnb gift cards and get 8x Wyndham points, 52x Speedway points at Speedway gas stations (points that can be used for other gift cards).
With Wyndham, you can book Vacasa properties which are similar to Airbnb but the cost for redemption is super reasonable (like 15,000 points a night for an entire house).

There isn’t really a way to pay for it with points besides booking with your card and using your points to pay for the transaction.
And that would be a very low value redemption that I would advise against.
Booking with Airbnb giftcards would be better here.
You can buy them from an office supply store for 5x via Chase INK or at a grocery store if you have a card with a good multiplier.
You can also book through the British Airways Airbnb link for 2 British Airways Avios for every $1 spent.

If you decide to still go for an Airbnb, like others suggested, I’d recommend buying gift cards at office supplies stores for 5x using a Chase Ink Cash and then earning Delta points by booking the Airbnb using the Delta partnership link.
I rationalize if I’m not using points for the stay, at least I’m earning SkyMiles plus 2x on travel with my Chase Sapphire Preferred or Capital One Venture X.

Book your Airbnb with a Chase or AMEX card and pay the bill with your points.

As mentioned above, you could essentially erase the purchase with points, but that will be at 1 cents per point for Ultimate Rewards or 0.6 cents per point for Membership Rewards, which is a poor use of points.
