How To Book Italy Train Tickets On Trenitalia?
Does anyone here have experience booking train tickets in Italy with Trenitalia?
I’m finding the website extremely wonky.
Currently, it won’t let me change the number of people I’m buying for which is a little bit of a problem.
I’m using Chrome and tried logging out/in, but it is just throwing all kinds of inconsistent behaviors.

I bought all my Italian tickets through Trainline (which is what my Italian Airbnb host also used).
It looks at all of the different companies and presents all options.
Way easier, and they have great notifications for any changes and are fast to process refunds if needed.

You also have to check in your tickets on the app.
Just used the app in Italy and had no big issues.
You do need cell service at the station to check in.
The only issue is you need to know the train station name.
ie: Roma Termini for the main station.

Download the app and use that.
I’ve had good luck with the app.
Also try a VPN set to Italy.
