How To Confirm Award Availability On Virgin Atlantic?
Looking for tips on how to confirm availability on a one-way flight to New Zealand using Virgin Atlantic points.
I started with United and found business availability.
Checked and found the flight on ANA, and created a fake return flight so I could confirm partner availability for the one way I wanted.
However, the flight did NOT appear on Aeroplan!!!
Do I just have to call Virgin?
I don’t want to waste time if this is phantom availability.

I booked ANA through Virgin Atlantic last month.
It was a quick and easy call.
They confirmed the availability and stayed on the line while I transferred the points over.

Aeroplan currently doesn’t always list partners due to varying technical glitches combined with the intentional limiting of availability to try and limit fraudulent bookings while they try to patch the holes.
That’s why you can’t see the ANA award there.

Well Virgin is easy because you can transfer points in over the phone.
I would not create “fake” bookings because sometimes that will take up the award space that you need
