A little tip for using the Amazon Prime Visa to score free Airbnb’s!!
So the Amazon Prime Visa is my oldest credit card, and even though it’s not a great travel credit card or anything, with the no annual fee I get SO much value out of the 5% back on Amazon purchases since I buy SO much of my everyday necessities from Amazon.
The coolest niche use I’ve found so far is using my 5% cash back from Amazon purchases to score free Airbnb’s!
Once you have a sizable amount of Cashback in your account, you can buy Airbnb gift cards on Amazon, earn 5% back on the purchase of the gift card, and then redeem your Amazon Cashback balance for a statement credit.
This essentially erases the cost of the gift card you just bought, while still earning 5% back on the purchase of the gift card too!
I love a good cheap Airbnb every now and then while traveling, and I felt like this was a cool way to pay for them using miles & points (or in this case Cashback) since there aren’t many ways to do so (other than using Capital One miles to erase the cost)!
Hope this gives you a new travel hacking idea that’s not talked about too much!

So just to summarize:
1. Use Amazon Prime Visa to buy Airbnb gift cards to earn 5% cashback.
2. Use your existing cashback for a “statement credit”, essentially paying back what you just spent on the Airbnb gift cards.
