How To Get Seat Assignments On Turkish Awards?
Booked my first redemption for 2 business class tickets through Aeroplan via Air Canada flying August 2024.
The first leg is Air Canada seats assigned no problem.
Connection is Turkish Airlines also business class.
I was told to call Turkish for seat assignments.
Turkish is stating I cannot get seats until check-in which has to be done at the airport!
I messaged Turkish Airlines and their reply was:
“The seat selections for international flights will be available 100 days in advance of your scheduled flight.
You will be able to perform an online check-in 24 hours prior to your flight.”
Is this true?
No one can reserve business class seats on Turkish Airlines earlier than 100 days before the trip?

Just get the PNR or reservation code from Air Canada for your Turkish leg.
Go to Turkish airlines app or webpage.
Manage booking and choose your seats.
I did that like 10 minutes after I made Aeroplan booking, all on Turkish.
