How To Keep Citi Thank You Points From Expiring?
My husband’s Citi Premier is up for renewal now with the $95 fee.
We haven’t used the card much at all but he has 94K points and I don’t want to waste anything.
He also has a Citi Double Cash Card account. If we cancel, would the points just go to the double cash card?

You won’t lose the points if you close your account but you will lose the ability to transfer to partners.

They are very generous with retention offers.
I called looking to downgrade.
They offered me $95 back after spending $95 on the card.
I barely use it.

Thinking you might want to find either a good transfer partner or a decent gift card deal (1 cent per point or better).
Not sure it will be retained with the double cash.
