Can I Upgrade To AA First Class With Points?
I have an American Airlines flight, how do you upgrade to AA First Class with points?
I don’t see any options on my app.
I paid cash for the flight.

For most fare buckets, it’s a cash + points upgrade. I assume you don’t have status?
You’ll need to call to be put on the list. If you don’t have status, I would not hold your breath.
There’s a tiny chance upgrade space is available, but it’s truly minuscule.

I’d recommend calling AA and seeing if you can upgrade with points.
