Can I Claim EU261 If Airline Gave Miles For Cancelled Flight?
Has anyone been unsatisfied with compensation from an airline for a canceled flight and filed an EU261/2004 for additional compensation?
I received minimal miles for a canceled flight, not money.
Did you use an outside company?
Seeing the ability to use Skycop, Airhelp and Claim Compass.
Would like to hear about your experience.

I did try using one of those help companies for a claim and it took many, many months before they finally got back to me and said no, sorry.
It was an exception due to strike action….

I’ve only had a couple of claims under the regulations and both times just went on the airline’s website, completed, and submitted the claim.
I received the compensation that was required under the regulations.
Easy peasy.
I would first file with the airline (since you don’t have to give commission), if they deny it or don’t respond, then use one of those companies.

The regulation says it has to be money if you claim them and the amount is fixed depending on the delay and distance.
I never had any success with these companies but yes with airlines directly.
There is no fee to fille a claim so I would do it.
