If I Close Hilton AMEX, Does My Free Night Award Expire?
I have a Hilton Free Night Certificate award via the AMEX Surpass sign-up bonus promo last July.
If I cancel or downgrade my Surpass card to the no annual fee version, will the AMEX Hilton Surpass free night award still be valid?
Been trying to click around Hilton and AMEX to understand this but I don’t seem to be getting anywhere.

Yes, you will still get to keep your free night award.
Just check and see when it expires, because some of them expire every year.
