Is It Safe To Travel To Cairo And Luxor?
We’re planning a trip to Egypt next year.
2 days in Cairo and 2 days in Luxor.
We saw that there is a level 3 travel advisory for Egypt to reconsider travel.
Is it safe to travel to Cairo or Luxor?
Has anyone been to either of these cities since the travel advisory has been issued?
We are traveling between the cities ourselves (flying), but we will have guided tours to the sites.

I spent a week in Egypt between Christmas and New Year’s in Cairo, Aswan, and Luxor.
Never felt unsafe.

I’ve been in Cairo for the last two days with my family of 6.
It’s been amazing and at no point have I felt the least bit worried about safety.
We have stayed at an Airbnb in Giza.
