If you have Global Entry you’ll be fine.

You’ll grab your bags after immigration and then walk through customs and then there’ll be an area where you can immediately recheck.

If you need to switch terminals you’ll just take the Skytrain after TSA.

An hour should be fine with both Global Entry and TSA PreCheck.

I did it all in 25 minutes last week with 2 checked bags

Global Entry has an app now and DFW airport is on it.

I believe it allows you to clear customs before you back here to the states.

I arrived at DFW from Japan at 7:15am

With Global Entry I was thru and at security for my next flight by 7:25am

Easily took the Skytrain to A and boarded my next flight at 8am

My experience with Global Entry at DFW has been mixed.

    Sometimes it’s 1 minute and sometimes it’s 30.

    Same with baggage claim.

You will likely be changing terminals which is a 10-20 min Skylink ride.

If everything goes perfectly, and you don’t have check bags it’ll be fine.

My opinion is that you are cutting it too close.

The problem is clearing customs (takes 1 minute with Global Entry).

This issue is waiting for your checked bag.

If it comes out first on the conveyor belt then it is fine but if it takes 30 minutes, you are cutting it close.
