Tagged: Airport Layover, American Airlines, Dallas Fort Worth Airport, DFW Airport, Minimum Connecting Time, Visiting Dallas Airlines Is 30 Minutes Enough Time To Connect At DFW Airport? Posted by Matilde on February 2, 2023 at 4:33 pm I have a flight in March and I just realized the connecting flight in DFW only has 30 minutes between flights. Both flights are on AA. I have never been to Dallas Fort Worth Airport before. Will that be enough time to connect or should I try to change flights to something with a longer layover? Your connection might not be in the same terminal and you might need to take the monorail. I did this last week. Nayeli Member February 10, 2023 at 7:00 am There likely will be some more flight changes between now and March regarding schedule changes and whatnot. I would wait and see how it flushes out. What’s great about schedule changes is that many times the airlines will do a lot to accommodate you. Rocky Member February 19, 2023 at 9:47 am Change it to a better connection. Should be able to change it free of charge. Mazie Member March 10, 2023 at 3:26 pm I would try to change it. ESPECIALLY with American’s record of being late, and ESPECIALLY with the DFW Hub. I lived in South Texas for 35 months, and flying American (especially during the pandemic) just became a nightmare. Log In to Reply Log in to reply.
