Can I See Eiffel Tower On 7 Hour Layover At Paris CDG?
I have a 7 hour layover in Paris CDG and have never been into the city.
I would like to see the Eiffel Tower.
I have 9 am – 4pm free and I believe I would have to clear immigration when arriving.
Is a 7 hour layover enough time to leave Charles De Gaulle airport and go into Paris to site see?
How long does it take to get from CDG to Eiffel Tower?
Or should I play it safe and just relax in the lounge during my CDG layover?

Paris airport is notorious for being slow at everything, I personally would not risk missing the flight over a few hours of sightseeing.
You might end up spending more time in the line instead.

7 hours should be enough time if you plan to only spend 1-2 hours in the city.
Train takes 1 hour into city so factor that in.

The Eiffel Tower is amazing.
You probably won’t have enough time to go up unless there is a reservation system but still worth it to see.

I’d figure you’d have about 3 hours of active time in the city from that.
Better to find things nearer to the airport IMO but you could go to actual Paris.
