Is Buying AA Miles Via Mileage Multiplier A Good Deal?
I got an offer to buy AA Advantage miles and was wondering if this is a good deal.
The offer says:
“You can multiply your AAdvantage miles for your upcoming flight. Buy 5,184 miles for only $168“
Is it worth it to buy the AA mileage multiplier? -

AA Mileage Multiplier is always a horrible deal.
It comes out to three cents a point.
AA miles are valued at 1.5-1.7 cents.
Not a good deal!

$168 / 5,184 miles = .032 cents a mile.
You typically only want to buy miles if it is under 1 cent per a mile.
Almost always any airline selling miles is usually not a good deal.
