• Anyone Have Experience Flying To Mexico For Dental Work?

Has anyone gone on a dental vacation to Mexico?

I’ve seen posts about how affordable dental work is in other countries and wanted to hear about others’ experiences.

    UPDATE:

I sent pictures and the treatment plan from my local dentist (which was quoted at $30,000) to a highly recommended dental office in Mexico for a quote.

    I was shocked!

It was only $3,800 and would take just 5 days in Mexico.

I’ve been to Medellin, Colombia twice for dental work.

They did a better job than the dentists in the U.S., and it cost a quarter of the price, even compared to using dental insurance in the U.S. .

I don’t pay for U.S. dental insurance anymore.

I’ll just go back to my dentist in Colombia every time.

A friend of mine got a full set of new teeth—either caps, crowns, or veneers—in Turkey.

He paid $7,000 for everything, including flights, hotel, and dental work.

The dental procedures took 2-3 days, and he stayed there for a week.

I travel to Asia once a year and have gone to Bangkok International Dental Center for the last 5 years and it is great.

Very affordable and it is like any facility you’d find in the US (or even better).

Asia is of course very far compared to Mexico, but you can make a vacation out of it.
