Is Liberia, Costa Rica worth a visit?

Liberia is very close to the coast, but there is not much in Liberia.
I am a travel agent and would be happy to help you plan it.
My son lives in Costa Rica and I have been everywhere!

Yes!
We did a canyon-guided trail that went up waterfalls.
We also spent a week in Tamarindo which is right on the beach.
If you go there be prepared for “American” pricing.
Other areas should be a better value.

Yes but don’t stay in Libera.
We stayed in Palya Hermosa, 30 minutes away, and loved it.
But we went for a week and rented a car also!

I wouldn’t go to Liberia for just a weekend because the resorts are too far away from the airport to make that work but would recommend it if you have more time.
Best white water rafting we’ve ever done!

Yes!
We flew into Liberia and spent several days in Tamarindo.
Beautiful little beach town- highly recommend it!
