• Does Using VPN Show Better United Award Availability?

Posted by Rosa on January 16, 2024 at 3:31 pm

When conducting award searches, is it best to do these using private browsing mode such as incognito or use a VPN?

I’m looking to find a couple of tickets on United Airlines heading to Vegas and Saver Awards are just not available yet and the flight is pretty empty so I’m sure it’s going to be released it’s just a matter of time.

I like to check the flights a couple of times a week just to see if anything changed but I’m nervous about being tracked by United if someone’s looking for a specific destination.

This is where Expert Flyer would have come in handy, but unfortunately, it no longer supports United and many other Star Alliance programs.

This is an old urban myth that has been disproven many, many times over.

Incognito, VPN, clearing cookies, etc. will have very little impact, if any, on what the airline website shows for available tickets.

No, you’ve gotten tricked by garbage advice on the internet.

Only thing that can change award availability is the price of the revenue ticket being sold but we have no control over that.
