• Is Virgin Atlantic Upper Class The Same As Business Class?

Is Virgin Upper Class the same as Virgin Business Class?

Or is Virgin Upper Class actually Virgin First Class?

I am very confused as I can’t tell exactly what is Virgin Atlantic Upper Class.

I don’t want to accidentally book Virgin Premium Economy, thinking I am paying for Virgin Atlantic Business Class.

I looked online and the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class seats are lie flat seats but I’ve never flown Virgin before and don’t know their nomenclature for cabins.

I’m looking at A350 Virgin Atlantic Upper Class seats to Paris from San Francisco and they are 165,000 points each.

I am a newbie and don’t know if this is crazy.

    It’s business class.

    Quality depends on the aircraft.

The new A350-1000 and A330neo are nice.

    Their other planes?

    Not so much.

Very open and coffin-like at the same time.

We flew Virgin upper class recently and enjoyed it – its business class.

It is lay flat the layout we had was that strange one with 3 rows of seats where people’s backs are to the window, it’s not private it’s very open.

Is your flight nonstop to CDG or do you stop at LHR?

The Virgin upper class departure lounge, arrivals lounge and private check in area at LHR made flying Virgin upper class well worth it.

Virgin Upper Class was great years ago, it’s pretty average now.

Depends on the seat layout, but food is not on par with most, some good and interesting wine choices.

Cabin crew are generally great, really down to earth, friendly and helpful.

I just flew it in November SFO>LHR & Back.

I paid a bit more but I was married to a specific date.

    I booked through Air France.

    Good experience.

A little narrow in the shoulders for my husband but great for me.

    Food was good. Service too.

Check out the plane layout on seatmaps.com and watch YouTube videos for a full tour.

Yes, it’s first/biz class on their planes, but it’s called upper class.

Most international airlines don’t have first class, they’ll have economy, premium economy and business class.

Virgin Upper Class is business class and it is lie flat.

The way to be sure, and to see for yourself about a product, is when you have found potential tickets, take the airline and plane flight model and YouTube/Google search it.

Not all business/first class is created equal.

Go and see what the experience is actually like on board.

There are many travel creators and flight reviewers who cover this stuff extensively.

And for flights to Paris, keep searching.

If your dates aren’t completely rigid, you should be able to do better than 160 each way.

Try searching Air France without putting in date so you can see their calendar and see where you get.
