Better to buy something more comprehensive on your own.

    What island?

There were warnings put out on Maui recently about short-term reservations likely getting canceled last minute as Maui County is trying to reserve those rentals for those affected by the Lahaina fires.

If Maui you may want to consider another option.

As to your specific question, CSP coverage is generally pretty good but it’s never really a bad idea to add extra coverage if it’s in the budget.

    Especially for Hawaii travel.

I’ve had more than one flight cancelled leaving Hawaii and it’s always a major pain due to flight schedules in and out.

Your Chase Sapphire Preferred has travel insurance built in, so I would check to see what that offers before buying Airbnb’s version.

More than likely, CSP has the same coverage as Allianz (I think they might be Chase’s provider actually).

    I would get it.

Ours covered some lost nights at our AirBnb when our flight was delayed 2 days and covered some other delay-related expenses.

    Totally worth it.
