How To Change JetBlue Blue Extra Ticket For Free?
For JetBlue, how do award ticket changes work for Blue Extra fare class?
I booked a JetBlue flight using my True Blue points for a Blue Extra award ticket, which promises “free change/cancel/same-day switches”.
But when I try to change my JetBlue booking, it says “Points bookings cannot be changed online. Please cancel the booking…then rebook”.
So, what exactly does “free changes” mean then?

You need to cancel and then book again for JetBlue.
You paid so you wouldn’t get hit with a cancellation fee.

What kind of change are you looking to make?
I’ve changed my booking multiple times using miles reservations without any extra charge, and got my points back immediately.
The only reason not to do that is if you need to book for the same day or same flight, and the points have increased.
