When Do Qatar Avios Miles Expire?
I am thinking about booking a Qatar Qsuite and saw that the cancellation fee is only $25.
I have a few questions before I make the transfer.
If I cancel my booking later, when will the points expire?
Will the expiration date start from the day I transfer the points or the day I cancel the booking?
Also, how can I keep the points from expiring?

If you’re transferring to Qatar Avios, there’s no going back.
Once you transfer, it’s done—they are in your Qatar account.
If you cancel a booking, the points will stay in your Qatar account.
I believe they expire in 2 years, but making a small transfer can extend the expiration date.
I’ve had 80,000 Avios in my Qatar account for a year now due to a canceled booking.
