Does each piece of JetBlue checked baggage need to be under 50 pounds or does the total need to be 200 pounds?

Each bag must be under 50 pounds.

These days, many airports have a scale that won’t let you check in if your bag is even .01 pounds over 50 lbs.
I have a travel luggage scale so you know exactly your weight before going to the airport.

I would highly recommend getting a $10 portable luggage scale to weigh your bags at home, so you know exactly the weight before you go to the airport.
Then you don’t have to shuffle things around on the floor.
